Good Problems – “Curio”

/

With a lyrical focus on “the ever-expanding technological world and how it brings us together and apart,” “Curio” – a new track from Liverpool rockers Good Problems – is a consuming gem that expertly balances warm distortion and fuzz with an accessible melodic core. “I used to be so curious,” the sweltering vocals of Jen Baranick emit over a galloping rhythm section and heavy guitar fuzz, perhaps a reference to the positives and negatives of the technological age’s abundance of information. Nonetheless, “Curio” certainly piques my curiosity in regard to this act, who show ample promise here.
