Crushwater – “Blue Moon”

/

Port Angeles trio Crushwater impress on their new EP, The Cactus Storm, featuring five tracks that meld a vein of soft-rock with engaging male-female vocal harmonies and riveting strings. Such is evident on opening track “Blue Moon”, where the vocals and strings combine for a gentle first half, until the guitars enjoyably erupt just prior to the two-minute mark. Rock and symphonic-pop are both in display, with both emotive vocal performances adding nicely to the arsenal.
