Reclining Nude – “Tell You”

/

“Tell You” finds a captivating middle ground between buzzing guitars and lush nighttime drives, resulting in a track that’s consuming and satisfyingly diverse throughout. The caressing effort, successfully delivered as an antidote from NYC’s bustle and hustle, is the first single off Reclining Nude’s new EP [TITLE HERE]. The project of Brooklyn musician and artist Cade Sadler (previously of Foe Destroyer and Sanctuary Sound), Reclining Nude shows ample promise in an aesthetic that’s suave and delightfully hazy. His multi-tracked vocals never overpower, though do well as a melodic component. The bridge at 02:24 – with the acoustic guitars – is wonderfully melodic, the type of moment one anticipates upon replays. “Tell You” is a track I’ve had on repeat.

“Tell You” and other memorable tracks from this month can also be streamed on the updating Obscure Sound’s ‘Best of August 2018’ Spotify playlist.
