Sandy Blue – “Soul Raver”

“Soul Raver” is a track with enjoyable depth, spanning from moments of elegant sparseness to cathedral-sized psych-friendly eruptions. The track comes via the album Off You Go, the newest from Copenhagen 7-piece Sandy Blue. The loudest, most expansive moments are often accompanied by the production choice of rewinding core elements in post-production, bringing out a “trace-like vibe … perfectly suited for both the concert and the rave-party.” The gentle lull of the vocal-heavy sections merges with creative force to the rewind-happy expansion. “Soul Raver” is a trance-inducing success.
