“If You Want Me” is another quality track from Sneakers, who impressed in the past with the track “Come Down Sundown.” On this track, a suave vocal presence is nicely accompanied by synth flourishes and a prominent bass line, with seductive guitar lines entering at points like 01:20, which leads into a nice bridge with ample melodic swagger. The “my intuition” part – with the drum fill – is especially stellar, and even more so when followed by the sexy saxophone. Another good one from Sneakers here.
