Chilled-out track “Algo Nuevo” is an enjoyable success from Bryson Briight, a dream-pop artist based in Austin, TX who also plays in the project Ritual Dagger. Upbeat guitar twangs and effervescent synths are apt accompaniments to the soaring vocal lead, which lyrically describes the feeling of negative emotions melting away. Aesthetically, the relief-touting vocal presence and melodic guitar tugs are nicely reflective of a mood-easing antidote. Relax, sit back, and enjoy the carefree and melodically soaring vibes within “Algo Nuevo.” I’m looking forward to hearing more from Bryson Briight.
