Tincho – “I Got Home Today”

Courtesy of Seattle-based act Tincho, “I Got Home Today” is an excellent track that features gliding, melodic Kurt Vile-esque guitar tones alongside a melodic vocal lead, parts Modest Mouse and Pavement. The track is the lead single off the band’s forthcoming debut album, recorded in Seattle from 2017 to 2019. “I Got Home” was the last song written for the release, and showcases a nice array of jangly guitars and erupting vocal hooks. “I Got Home Today” is a winner from Tincho, an act whose debut album I’ll certainly be anticipating.

“I Got Home Today” and other memorable tracks from this month can also be streamed on the updating Obscure Sound’s ‘Best of July 2019’ Spotify playlist.

The track is also featured in the genre-based, best-of Spotify compilation Indie Rock.
