Lowercase Committee – “Nothing Else for Me”

/

Melodic rhythm guitar lines and serene doses of synths lead the catchy “Nothing Else for Me,” a newly released track from Las Vegas-based act Lowercase Committee. The four-piece excel especially during the “I wanna come out in the sunlight,” hook, reminiscent of The 1975. The rhythm guitars and fleeting synths play nicely during the bridge at two minutes in, leading seamlessly back into the chirpiness of the primary melody. “Nothing Else for Me” is a catchy success that entices replays.

The band says of the track: “The lyrics are about recognizing when you are in the place you most want to be, the place that you belong. While other things may seem intriguing and draw us away from where we belong, we know that if we left, we would only want to go back.”

“Nothing Else for Me” and other memorable tracks from this month can also be streamed on the updating Obscure Sound’s ‘Best of October 2019’ Spotify playlist.
