Ben Strawn – “It’s All Gonna Be Okay”

/

Touting a melodic rock sound influenced by The War on Drugs, “It’s All Gonna Be Okay” is a very pleasant track from Ben Strawn. Off Strawn’s recently released debut album See in Color, “It’s All Gonna Be Okay” impresses especially with the bursting guitar tones and lush vocal entrancement. The first couple minutes show an accessible, guitar-forward sound that expands patiently. The “will you still love me?” bridge at 02:40 infuses a newly melodic component that plays with success, with the guitar-forward final minute also excelling. “It’s All Gonna Be Okay” shines in its approach.

Writing about the track, the Tennessee-based singer/songwriter says: “Even when inner demons and anxiety plagues you, the simple joys in life are what can help bring you out of the dark tunnel.”

“It’s All Gonna Be Okay” and other memorable tracks from this month can also be streamed on the updating Obscure Sound’s ‘Best of January 2020’ Spotify playlist.
