Gemini Cove – “Honey”

“Honey” is a lovely, hypnotic track released today from Gemini Cove. Murky guitars and nonchalant vocals build to a sonorous section past the one-minute mark, where a nocturnal guitar twang accompanies multi-layered vocals. A key-laden bridge adds lushness around 02:10, with a thumping bass gearing up for the track’s satisfying conclusion, where twangy guitars and haunting tribal-like vocal processions assemble an engrossing soundscape. “Honey” is a treat for the type of Valentine’s Day best worn with sunglasses.

“Honey” and other memorable tracks from this month can also be streamed on the updating Obscure Sound’s ‘Best of February 2020’ Spotify playlist.
