First catching my ear with the tracks “I Wonder” and “Chaucer,” Micky Blouse just released a 4-track EP that’s recommended. The Sheffield, England-based act rides on catchy guitar lines and a melodic, nasally vocal lead. “Contrary To Popular Belief” is a highlight certainly, with punchy verses and fun guitar lines (like at 01:30) showing the band’s sound well.
