Fat Heart – “Glass Self”

The ethereal dream-pop gem “Glass Self” is among the highlights on Everything Is, the stellar new EP from Fat Heart. The project of London-based singer, musician, and producer Jack Bzowski, Fat Heart shows throughout a clear talent for ethereal and melodic soundscapes and song construction. The track grows from chugging, quaint verses reminiscent of The Radio Dept., while the chorus expands with jangly glistening and gripping vocal harmonies, akin to Wild Nothing. Fans of dream-pop and jangly guitars definitely need to check out this EP, a DIY success that — per the artist — explores “the subjects of loss, longing, self-destruction and boredom.”
