Weston Smith – “Ellanor”

/

Preceded by stellar tracks “Autumn Wind” and its self-titled track, Mirror World is an album released today from Weston Smith. Another highlight from the enjoyable album is “Ellanor,” featuring a lushly melodic synth-pop push that reminds of Momus. Synth arps emerge upon the “in a perfect world,” lyric, with spacey synths adorning the mix as the vocals reference the track title’s namesake with yearning. The track’s final minute is particularly gripping, with hypnotic vocal mixing and effervescent synth backing converging for a wholly consuming effect. “Ellanor” is the type of quality creativity one can expect throughout Mirror World, a success from Weston Smith.
