The heartbeat percussion in the final minute convincingly merges with funk-tinged bass and charismatic vocals for a satiating conclusion.
Per the artist: “‘Plans Into Dreams’ is about a crush. Someone that electrifies you when they’re around. And you’re feeling it so much that your mind wanders into a kind of dreamland with you and her. Mentally undressing her as you talk.
