Dansson Rana – “Plans Into Dreams”

/

Impressing with the track “Island Night” in March, London-based artist Dansson Rana again shows well with new track “Plans Into Dreams.” A breezier, more organic production compared to the atmospheric synth-driven scope of “Island Night,” “Plans Into Dreams” plays with a suave, collected charm. The heartbeat percussion in the final minute convincingly merges with funk-tinged bass and charismatic vocals for a satiating conclusion.

Per the artist: “‘Plans Into Dreams’ is about a crush. Someone that electrifies you when they’re around. And you’re feeling it so much that your mind wanders into a kind of dreamland with you and her. Mentally undressing her as you talk. You keep catching your mind doing it, but that doesn’t mean you can stop.”

“Plans Into Dreams” and other memorable tracks from this month can also be streamed on the updating Obscure Sound’s ‘Best of July 2020’ Spotify playlist.
