David James Allen – “Scarecrow”

/

The eerily consuming “Scarecrow” comes from David James Allen‘s upcoming album, Radiations, out on November 6th. Twangy guitars exude a lonesome, haunting feel. Organs prance on in with vigor thereafter. “Scarecrow” is a chilling, engrossing listen — one that emphasizes Allen’s knack for uniquely impactful soundscapes. This was evident on previously featured tracks like “Tough Love” and “To Share This Dance (With You),” though “Scarecrow takes the cake in terms of uniquely haunting immersion, with its twangy and organ-laden descent. The Ontario-based artist impresses again.

“Scarecrow” and other memorable tracks from this month can also be streamed on the updating Obscure Sound’s ‘Best of September 2020’ Spotify playlist.
