Los Angeles-based band Astronomers of the Strange impress with the new track “Slow Your Roll.” Mysterious vocals and dreamy guitars set a bouncy scene to begin, the vibes reminiscent of Wild Beasts. Organ and guitar combine thereafter alongside the vocals and guitars, assuming prominence again around the two-minute mark, enjoyably. Percussion and guitar involvement intensify as the three-minute mark approaches, again reminding of Wild Beasts, and even stronger than before; this outro firmly succeeds. “Slow Your Roll” concocts a consuming, hypnotic quality with an enjoyably lounge-friendly pace and dreamy rock demeanor.
