A recent track from collaborative duo Eric Anders and Mark O’Bitz, “Careful Now My Son” is a rousing effort with folk and Americana intentions. Lyrically touching on themes like the pandemic’s anxieties and the foreboding lurking of cultish politics, the passionate vocals mesh melodically with guitar twangs and a backing acoustical shimmer. The duo dub the release as the first of three in a collection marking “music in the time of coronavirus.” Look for the upcoming next two tracks soon.
