Palo Sopraño – “Fingertips” (feat. Fisherman Jo)

/

Enamoring with shimmering guitars and melodic key touches, “Fingertips” is a new track from Palo Sopraño. Suave and hooky with hazy lazy-day charm, “Fingertips” drives from amiable verses into a twangy, nostalgic chorus, with shades of early Todd Rundgren. “Every time I go for a ride in the city, I’m just thinking of you sitting here with me,” the vocals yearn after the first chorus, delighting with an added guitar jangliness. The “hoping you would stay,” lead-up hooks throughout; “Fingertips” is a delectable piece of songwriting from Palo Sopraño.

“Fingertips” and other memorable tracks from this month can also be streamed on the updating Obscure Sound’s ‘Best of August 2021’ Spotify playlist.

The track is also featured in the genre-based, best-of Spotify compilation Emerging Indie Rock.
