LosA – “obscurrity”

The debut single from LosA, “obscurrity” captivates with its memorably detailed soundscape and riveting vocals. The initial unfolding is cinematic in feeling; glistening keys and jazzy percussive spells craft an eerily enveloping sound, as the artist’s brighter vocal disposition shines light on the nocturnal tones. Of particular notability is the haunting vocal rise in the second half, as the wordless vocal rise converges with ruminating percussion and chilly keys. The seamless shifting between wordless vocal outpouring and more collected lyrical detailing plays climactically, adding beautifully to the track’s standout atmospheric production.

Per the artist, “obscurrity” is “about driving home after the party.”

This track and others featured this month can be streamed on the updating Obscure Sound’s ‘Best of February 2022’ Spotify playlist.
