L’Resorts – “The People You Meet”

/

Milwaukee-based duo L’Resorts impress further with a laid-back, duet-forward charm, with their track “The People You Meet.” Lyrically speaking to the enduring power of unconditional love, “The People You Meet” captures the project’s knack for melodic charm and endearing lyrical output. “Would you love if I had no voice? Would you love me if you had no choice?” the two vocalists swap in their questions, alongside tender guitars and synth-laden flourishes. The interacting vocal work converges with alluring guitar and synth flourishes throughout, to result in another success for the duo.

“The People You Meet” comes via their album Bad Love, and many other releases can be found on their Bandcamp, including previously featured tracks like “Highs and Lows” and “Hard to Grow.”

This track and others featured this month can be streamed on the updating Obscure Sound’s ‘Best of March 2022’ Spotify playlist.
