Jupiter Radio Theater & Rubber Band Gun – “Ghost of the Hour”

Buffalo-based group Jupiter Radio Theater collaborate with NJ-based artist Rubber Band Gun on the new single “Ghost of the Hour,” which comes via Jupiter Radio Theater’s new EP, Curtains.

A chamber-pop elegance sets an initial spell, as graceful piano and light string flourishes complement Rubber Band Gun’s understated vocals. Swift alternations between twinkling, subdued engrossment and peppy guitar-touched bursts make for a climactic progression throughout. A full rock-forward embrace takes hold prior to the two-minute turn, as dexterous piano and twangy guitars converge with beautifully melodic satisfaction. “Ghost of the Hour” is a stellar success, bridging string-laden beauty with bursts of hooky rock energy.
