JT Loux – “jealous”

/

A rousing rocker exploring the impact of toxic relationships, “jealous” is the latest single from Nashville-based singer/songwriter and guitarist J.T. Loux. Per the artist, the single “covers the feelings after a break up when you’re getting back on your feet and realizing that they are envious of your new found life.”

“You talk behind my back, it’s fine, it’ll get to you some rainy day,” Loux’ crisp vocals resonate, strutting a confidence in moving on and refusing to “live this way forever.” An anthemic call for getting oneself together falling relationship tumult, “jealous” feels cathartic in its melodic rock sound — pleading to stop feeling anxious and “turning nothing into something,” propelled by a production that excels in both hard-rocking vigor and breezy, hooky vocal charm.

This and other tracks featured this month can be streamed on the updating Obscure Sound’s ‘Best of October 2023’ Spotify playlist.
