Analog Tears – “Bleed Love Again” (feat. Vienna Vox)

/

A collaboration from Analog Tears and Los Angeles-based artist Vienna Vox, “Bleed Love Again” casts a late-night entrancement, resembling a cross of Chromatics and The Cure. Argentinian-born, Seattle-based singer/songwriter and producer Diego HC fronts Analog Tears, drawing from a variety of dark dream-pop and synth-wavey inspirations; the collaboration here with Vienna Vox results in a stylish, melodic sound.

Nostalgic and nocturnal, “Bleed Love Again” builds patiently with a murky post-punk bass clanging and seductive guitar strums. Lyrical reflections of falling tears and faded hearts resonate alongside this delectably atmospheric instrumentation, arriving into a riveting title-touting chilliness, with shades of Chromatics’ “Candy.” Analog Tears and Vienna Vox churn out a darkly magnetic intrigue throughout “Bleed Love Again.”

This and other tracks featured this month can be streamed on the updating Obscure Sound’s ‘Emerging Singles’ Spotify playlist.
