Graffick – “Never Come Back”

/

A dynamic electronic soundscape stirs on “Never Come Back,” a new single from Graffick, the project of San Francisco-based producer and DJ Blaine Counter. The third single from upcoming album Spectra, “Never Come Back” embraces an eclectic range of synths and rhythmic directions. Dexterous percussive intensity complements stutter-y vocal effects and grimy synths for an initial spell, while the approach to the two-minute turn dazzles in a wintry, spacious soundscape with minimal rhythms. The track’s evolution and range of atmosphere proves wholly satiating, concluding with an infectious vocal sample “never come back,” infusion.

This and other tracks featured this month can be streamed on the updating Obscure Sound’s ‘Emerging Singles’ Spotify playlist.

The track is also featured in the genre-based, best-of Spotify compilation Emerging Indie Electronic.
