Wonderful – “So Sentimental”

/

A warming electro-pop buoyancy lingers on “So Sentimental,” a track from Wonderful. The project formed in the late ’90s, within Seattle’s bustling music scene, and continues to craft a sound with strong melodic and atmospheric appeal. “So Sentimental” is a lush, harmonious electronic journey, inspired by the break-up of Daft Punk.

“Inspired by their songs and the impact they had on our lives, this song went in a dancey, nostalgic direction,” Wonderful explains. “Eventually, the lyrics seemed to mesh with the chord changes and the song was completed earlier this year.” The track continues their release schedule since May 10th, when they released a batch of songs within the EP, Wonderful’s Nitedance.

This and other tracks featured this month can be streamed on the updating Obscure Sound’s ‘Emerging Singles’ Spotify playlist.
