Colorful Mannings – “Wash It All Out”

Colorful Manning, the solo project of Tokyo-based producer/songwriter Yuichiro Kosen, made a strong impression last year with infectious synth-pop gem “Sarah“. Formerly best known as the member of hip-hop/rock group The Beatmoss, Kosen is shaping out a successful solo career with efforts like this, and the recently released “Wash It All Out”. Upbeat synths and a bouncy bass line complement smooth vocals, leading into a chipper chorus with a playful vocal enhancement and trickling synths. It’s a simple, to-the-point contagious synth-pop success, riding on the strong songwriting/production of Kosen and vocals of Willie Japan.

Colorful Mannings is planning to release songs consistently every two months. The next release, “Rescue Me”, will release in July via Apple Music and Spotify.
