Kyoto Lo-Fi – “Flowering Boulder”

A rising organ in the intro of Dallas-based act Kyoto Lo-Fi’s new track “Flowering Boulder” quickly gives way to bouncy guitars and charismatic vocals. A vibrant, key-laden appeal hits as the first hook emerges just past the one-minute mark. The track is full of fun guitar lines, vocal melodies, and bouncy keys. It’s another catchy success from Kyoto Lo-Fi, who also impressed with “Godot” in October and their Black Rainbow EP in 2016.

“Flowering Boulder” and other memorable tracks from this month can also be streamed on the updating Obscure Sound’s ‘Best of July 2019’ Spotify playlist.

The track is also featured in the genre-based, best-of Spotify compilation Indie Rock.
