“Carnival” is a dreamy, jangly new track from Mercvrial. Dazed vocals exude a charmingly captivating feel reminiscent of ’80s acts like Rain Parade and Psychedelic Furs. The wandering guitars show aspects both reminiscent of jangle-pop and wandering indie-rock, reminiscent of War on Drugs at points during the track’s mid-section. More info on the track’s video, above, can be found via the track’s premiere on The Big Takeover. “Carnival” releases ahead of the band’s upcoming EP, The Stars, Like Dust, out on August 9th.
