Sea Salt – “Pillow”

/

Following up dream-pop success “Frames,” released this past May, Sea Salt returns with another gem with the track “Pillow.” Seattle-based Kurtis Roy, the artist behind the project, again consumes with a hypnotic dream-pop sound here; lush vocals and clanging guitars coincide for a serene success, navigating to fluidly blissful hooks, like at 01:22. The “’round my head,” repetition reminds fondly of The Stone Roses. I’m definitely looking to Sea Salt’s upcoming album, coming soon.

“Pillow” and other memorable tracks from this month can also be streamed on the updating Obscure Sound’s ‘Best of October 2019’ Spotify playlist.
