Feng Suave – “I’m Warping Here”

/

The smooth, hooky “I’m Warping Here” continues the ascent for Dutch psych-pop duo Feng Suave. Touting a soulful rock sound, the track expands briskly from harmonious vocal layers and a bouncy bass line, bringing delectable guitar twangs and expanding vocal melodies to the forefront shortly thereafter. Somewhere between the classic ’70s soul of Bill Withers and modern soul-rock charm of Unknown Mortal Orchestra, Feng Suave’s aesthetic is wholly enjoyable.

Singles “Toking, Dozing” and “Maybe Another Time” have already released this year to ample praise, and “I’m Warping Here” looks to continue that train. Look for Feng Suave’s new EP Warping Youth on June 26th.

“I’m Warping Here” and other memorable tracks from this month can also be streamed on the updating Obscure Sound’s ‘Best of April 2020’ Spotify playlist.

The track is also featured in the genre-based, best-of Spotify compilation Emerging Indie Rock.
