chemical club – “Everything I Know”

///

A recent track from duo chemical club, “Everything I Know” enamors with a hooky charm, meshing modern pop charm with tinges of ’80s nostalgia — led by shimmering guitars and playful synth adornments. The “refuse to you control to,” bridge builds with climactic allure, the fluttering guitars building to the stellar “consume you,” hook. The concluding bridge, in the final minute, adds further to the replay-inducing enjoyment.

The track is the first single from chemical club’s upcoming Arms Length. Of the track, they note: “Lyrically, it touches on themes of wanting to save someone who can only save themselves.

“Everything I Know” and other memorable tracks from this month can also be streamed on the updating Obscure Sound’s ‘Best of February 2021’ Spotify playlist.
