Soheill – “Behave”

/

“Behave” is an invigorating rocker from Soheill, the Nashville-based artist who impressed last year with the single “Can’t Stop Thinking.” Crunchy guitar distortion accompanies relatively understated vocals to start, while emitting an evolving unbridled quality tonally and lyrically — “I don’t know if I can behave.” The resistance grows into a sweltering chorus packed with an ardent vocal rise and continuing guitar-based pulsations. An added guitar line, past the one-minute mark, oozes melodic ’90s nostalgia. “Behave” never lets go with its guitar-based ferocity, riveting vocal intensity, and sturdy rock-forward production. I’m continuing to anticipate future releases from Soheill, who is releasing singles throughout 2021.

Per Soheill: ““Behave” was inspired by reaching a point where you tell yourself, “Enough is enough!” I really want people to feel what I felt when I wrote this song and hopefully can use it as a catalyst for the kind of change they’re seeking in their life.”

“Behave” and other memorable tracks from this month can also be streamed on the updating Obscure Sound’s ‘Best of August 2021’ Spotify playlist.
