A creaky, somewhat ominous swarming traverses into a snappy, industrial series of textures with a swelling vocal element. This particular vocal sample is masterfully manipulated throughout — “stretched, pitched, chopped,” — and compels in its construction of the track’s melodic direction. Further, an infectious burst of synth-driven melody and vocal expression culminates shortly past the one-minute mark.
