yllwblly – “Take More”

/

“Take More” is a gorgeous new single from yllwblly, expanding from murmured guitars into twinkling adornments and elongated vocal soaring. The title-referencing refrain is accompanied by a blissful array of guitars and warming bass, with the relaxing and luxurious sound exuding a textural resonance. The final minute sees a haunting fusing of eerie synths and rising guitar-based momentum, with a flash of theatrical-rock feeling settling cohesively into a lusher conclusion.

“I wrote this song at the beginning of the pandemic lockdown in Spring 2020,” the artist says. “It’s a lush, intimate song about daydreaming, routine, and escapism.”

Look for yllwblly’s second album, I Want To Open, to release this coming summer.

This and other tracks featured this month can be streamed on the updating Obscure Sound’s ‘Best of January 2023’ Spotify playlist.
