Attics – “Between Stations”

//

Building from a haunting piano-set daze into a bouncy psych-pop enamoring, “Between Stations” is the latest single from Attics. Representing the first single from upcoming LP Version History, “Between Stations” laments how it’s “too easy to lose control,” in its dreamier, subdued verses — launching into a spacey pop immersion as the vocals rise in emotion alongside the melodic swipes of instrumentation.

“Don’t underestimate my overtures, come back to being bored,” they continue here, capturing a relationship caught in-between — and comparing as such to a de-tuned radio that’s lost between stations. The effort marks another success from Attics, previously catching our ears with tracks like “Granite State” and “Allergic.”

This and other tracks featured this month can be streamed on the updating Obscure Sound’s ‘Emerging Singles’ Spotify playlist.
