Loopset – “Decades”

/

“Decades” is a serene, meditative success from Loopset. A droning resonance melds with shaking percussive momentum for an immersive atmospheric unfolding. Electronic pulses arrive thereafter, culminating in an introspective vocal lead — “never seem to make a sound,” — that lends a lushly magnetic quality.

Twinkling guitars show enjoyably at mid-point, developing into a second half with soaring electric guitar and vocal calls. The track is an inviting showcase in atmospheric production from the duo, with the track title being a shortened version of the original name “decades of music making,” representing how long the duo have been playing music together.

The track comes via the project’s new EP, streaming below:

This and other tracks featured this month can be streamed on the updating Obscure Sound’s ‘Emerging Singles’ Spotify playlist.
