An engaging combo of alt-rock vigor and psychedelic introspection takes hold on “Feel,” a new track from Huebline, a Los Angeles-based artist originally from Simsbury, CT.
Representing the first single from upcoming EP Last Known Rebel, out on June 12th, “Feel” consumes in its build-up from dreamy, spaciously contemplative guitar jangling — amidst lyrical laments that it’s a “tough world for honor” — into vocal soaring and distortion-laden fuzziness. The “feel like it’s all in doubt” vocal inflection is especially gripping in its emotive, melodically flourishing entrancement. “Feel” is a stellar rock success that has us anticipating the rest of the EP.
