Catching Flies – “Change of Hearts”

catching flies music

We last featured Catching Flies over three years ago, when the atmospheric electronic producer from London dropped the track “Grey Skies“. The effort made his knack for drizzly ambient electronica, complete with tranquil bass leads, jazzy key glissandi, late-night brass, and otherworldly ethereal vocal samples very evident. Three years later, Catching Flies doesn’t sound too different from a few years ago, yet there is a more sophisticated presence on new track “Change of Hearts”, which utilizes a soulful vocal sample and a lulling repeating piano melody to accomplish rainy-day bliss. Having recently supported Bonobo on a European tour, Catching Flies is presently at work on his debut full-length after a series of impressive EPs that started with 2012’s The Stars.
