County Line Runner – “Wide Eyes”

/

Following the well-received “Hard to Find“, County Line Runner released their second track “Wide Eyes”. Another success, it touts a soaring sound — marked by a confident vocal presence and anthemic, stirring guitars. The War on Drugs and Kurt Vile are nice reference points, though Adam Day (County Line Runner) certainly delivers his own vein of rock, which on “Wide Eyes” is one that would go well with a windows-down car ride on a summer day. There’s a soaring, carefree vibe inherent in the track’s enjoyable melody and feel that keeps it memorable.

“Wide Eyes” and other memorable tracks from this month can also be streamed on the updating Obscure Sound’s ‘Best of October 2018’ Spotify playlist.

The track is also featured in the genre-based, best-of Spotify compilation Indie Rock 2018.
