CS Hellmann – “Delroy (Where Did You Go)”

/

East Nashville musician CS Hellmann impresses with instrumental rock track “Delroy (Where Did You Go),” which shows a fondness for ’60s rock and pop with the suave guitar twangs and swirling organs. “My earliest childhood memories were listening to Beach Boys records and loving the surf rock sounds of Link Wray, The Ventures & The Surfaris,” the artist says. As such, “Delroy (Where Did You Go)” plays like a creative love letter time to these childhood memories. When the bass line kicks in at the 20-second mark, and stabs of organs follow shortly thereafter, it’s evident that “Delroy (Where Did You Go)” will go on to captivate throughout with its convincing melody and aesthetic.

“Delroy (Where Did You Go)” and other memorable tracks from this month can also be streamed on the updating Obscure Sound’s ‘Best of May 2019’ Spotify playlist.
