Andrew Shier – “Cultures”

/

Released today, “Cultures” is a track that nicely exemplifies the melodically consuming, bustling sound of Andrew Shier. The track represents the Canadian artist’s sixth single of 2019 so far, described by Shier as “a song of acceptance in others.”

“It’s about acknowledging the fact that we all have life altering experiences that shape who we are,” Shier explains. “We may all be human, but what we believe in, how we manage life and even the way we look may differ. “Cultures”‘ message is one of acceptance, in others and ourselves.”

Shier, who is also the lead vocalist for rock band Ten Minute Detour (TMD), guides “Cultures” with his chirpy, charismatic vocal delivery — centered around an effective “cultures, we’re all the same,” vocal hook. Bouncy and fit for the start of a weekend, with a positively inclusive message and sun-shining rock aesthetic, “Cultures” is a fun one.

“Cultures” and other memorable tracks from this month can also be streamed on the updating Obscure Sound’s ‘Best of June 2019’ Spotify playlist.
