Frass Green – “Feels Like Summer”

/

Today marks the first day of summer (here in the U.S.), which makes this an apt release date for “Feels Like Summer,” the latest track from D.C. act Frass Green. The opening lyrics echo a relatable feeling as today’s solstice arrives: “It feels like summer, and I want to get high / I’ve been sick through the winter months, it’s been lonely inside.” The vocals echo a classic surf-rock appeal, while the crunchy rhythm guitar and flourishing lead help establish a fun rock sound. The “I’m listening,” chorus finds the vocals soaring, again reminiscent of Beach Boys vibes. Lounge back, and enjoy the arrival of summer with these fitting vibes from Frass Green.

The track comes from the band’s brand new album, For You, streaming below:

“Feels Like Summer” and other memorable tracks from this month can also be streamed on the updating Obscure Sound’s ‘Best of June 2019’ Spotify playlist.
