The Customers – “Lust Field”

A hooky rocker, “Lust Field” is a new track from The Customers, a band based in New Jersey and Pennsylvania. Off The Customers’ self-titled EP, “Lust Field” drives to a wholly memorable chorus with newly soaring vocals — “yes I know, what’s in store, when you come knocking at my door.” The verses chug along with a suave disposition. The second bridge, past the two-minute mark, plays with a distantly effervescent quality, which along with the vocal presence conjures a reminiscence to The Walkmen. Similar excellent rock-forward songwriting can be found throughout the EP, streaming below:

“Lust Field” and other memorable tracks from this month can also be streamed on the updating Obscure Sound’s ‘Best of September 2021’ Spotify playlist.

The track is also featured in the genre-based, best-of Spotify compilation Emerging Indie Rock.
