Ancient Spaceship captivates with a psych-friendly glow throughout “Out by the Sea,” the first single from the project’s forthcoming album, Another Dimension. Ancient Spaceship is another project from Buffalo, NY-based artist Stone Camillo, who also fronts Diamond Revolver (recently featured with “Half of My Day“).
Hazy keys, understated guitar twangs, and a grooving bass line drive blissfully into Camillo’s lush vocals. A dazed assemblage of vocal layers converge during the subdued chorus, traversing seamlessly back into the more playful opening verses. The twinkling guitar fragments and suave bass combine with Camillo’s wordless soaring for a spine-chilling effect. “Out by the Sea” is a gorgeous psychedelic success from Ancient Spaceship.
