Esports Player – “Self-Care”

“Self-Care” is a new track from Esports Player, the project of Jack Kwiecinski, from Nottingham, UK. Spirited vocals, jangly guitars, and dreamy synths build enjoyably to the stellar “love doesn’t work anymore,” hook — fully consuming with a magnetic melodic charm. The lush, hooky dreamy pop aesthetic converges delightfully with rock and electronic adornments. “Self-Care” easily becomes stuck in my head with its weightless, flourishing central hook and polished production.

“Self-Care” and other memorable tracks from this month can also be streamed on the updating Obscure Sound’s ‘Best of March 2021’ Spotify playlist.
