Someone Anyone – “No Air”

/

A track out today from Hastings-based project Someone Anyone, “No Air” consumes with crisp guitar jangles and melodic vocal lushness. The track escalates beautifully past the one-minute mark, the halted “feel no air,” vocal hook joined by more involved guitar-laden textures. The vocals’ alternation between ferocity and the serene “no air,” culmination plays with invigorating qualities, especially into the sax-laden outro. First grabbing our ears a year ago with “Turning on Each Other,” Someone Anyone impress further with “No Air.”

This track and others featured this month can be streamed on the updating Obscure Sound’s ‘Best of March 2022’ Spotify playlist.
