Celestial North – “Olympic Skies”

/

Edinburgh-based artist Celestial North presents a beautifully reflective sound on “Olympic Skies,” a lush production whose references to nature and the inner-self resonate amidst the touchingly atmospheric production.

Percussive pitter-patter and light piano complement a steady vocal emergence, conveying “here is the poetry of the land right before us,” — meshing well with the scenic soundscape conveyed, one of dreamy mystique. Acoustical strums upon “the horror,” vocal rise proves chilling yet inviting. Further nature references — “you are the sun,” — further this seamlessly flowing charm and thematic grasp, which per the artist represents “a breakup song between the land and modern man.” “Olympic Skies” is a dreamy, immersive success from Celestial North.

The track comes via Celestial North’s album Otherworld, released in July:

We discovered this release via MusoSoup, as part of the artist’s promotional campaign.
