Russian Baths – “Bind”

/

NYC-based band Russian Baths craft a climactic rock intrigue on new single “Bind,” evolving seamlessly from eerie guitar creakiness and “I remember,” reflections into a riveting rise in guitar distortion and ghostly vocal adornments.

Comprised in the studio of guitarists/vocalists Jess Rees and Luke Koz, the band excels with the track’s structural swell — culminating in a final minute+ that immerses with its textured rock atmospherics, touting shades of Sonic Youth. The eerie aesthetical grip combines with lyrical explorations into historical misguided vengeance, inescapable in their ominous reality.

The track comes via the band’s upcoming album Mirror, releasing on June 14th via Good Eye Records.

This and other tracks featured this month can be streamed on the updating Obscure Sound’s ‘Emerging Singles’ Spotify playlist.
